The
Gem Testing Laboratory was founded in 1925 by Basil W. Anderson
it is the longest established Laboratory in the world. It
has gained an unrivalled reputation for the independence,
excellence and integrity.
Over the years the Gem Testing Laboratory has continued to
assist the jewellery trade in the task of responding to the
problems that have arisen with the synthesis and treatment
of gemstones.
The Gem Testing Laboratory is a member of the International
Confederation of Jewellery, Silverware, Diamonds, Pearls and
stones (CIBJO)
