    All members receive the publications The Journal of Gemmology and Gems & Jewellery.

    Members enjoy special rates for attendance at the Gem-A Annual Conference and meetings, trips and visits throughout the year. An expanding branch network in the UK provides meetings and events for members in their own localities. Overseas members are encouraged to form groups in their own countries.
 
  • MailTalk
    All Gem-A members may join the Gem-A MailTalk information exchange. This is an email-based forum that will allow you to share comments and ideas with other members, ask or answer queries, and receive regular news from Gem-A.

What are the advantages of becoming a member?

Whatever your interest in gemstones, you should benefit from Gem-A membership. As well as the services and discounts available to all members, there are benefits specially suited to your interest.

To apply for Membership

Anyone with an interest in gemstones, whether they are in the gem and jewellery trade, are collectors of gems, or simply love the beauty and romance of gemstones and want to know more, may apply for membership. No qualifications are necessary.

Those who have already qualified in Gem-A's Gemmology or Gem Diamond Diploma examinations may apply for Fellowship or Diamond Membership respectively.
